A Real Sushi Kitchen, Quietly Doing the Best in Town.
We're Ozeki, a family Japanese restaurant on Summitview Avenue in West Yakima. The room is warm wood and shoji screens, paper lanterns overhead, and a sushi bar where the rolls and sashimi are cut to order. It's the kind of place people walk into once and then come back for years.
Our board runs deep: twenty-eight specialty rolls with names like Dragon, Volcano and Kiss of Fire, alongside a full Japanese grill, teriyaki and katsu plates, tempura, and small plates to share. We pour hot and cold sake, Japanese beer, and wine by the glass. Come in for the 2 to 4 happy hour and take twenty percent off any roll while you find your favorite.
We don't do much marketing. The food does the talking, and our guests do the rest. If you've never been, you're in for the kind of meal Yakima keeps to itself.
